Blackhawk Farms

We had a good first weekend at Blackhawk. I qualified 2nd on Sat and 4th on Sunday. todds transponder didn't work on Saturday and he was 6th on Sunday. Finishing order was the same both days, Me 4 and 4 and Todd 6 and 6 after a last lap draft pass with a foot to spare. Sunday we both felt we should have ran up front, todd having some brake issues and I had an engine running near 150 for most of the race which was concerning. Great racing though and a fun weekend

One of my Fav purchases

Got this 2000 Diablo in 01. This was a 100% factory trackmagic that most likely shouldn't have been sold to me. Unpainted frame and a wicked fast Trackmagic Motor, all the current team tricks. This is the first time out in the new ride at Marshalltown IA.

What Next

PCR or Merlin chassis for 2012?

Looks like CES Blackhawk, Blackhawk, RIGP and Gingerman this year. Be interesting to see how the midwest shifter series does. Going to Dousman to race would be fun.

So Vegas. hmmm well it went like we thought. Todd didn't finish the main and I didn't make the main. but it was a great experience. Will write up the daily stuff soon.
